The Dirtiest Album Ever Recorded* — Vol 3 (Finale) · Track 14 · middle
Wait (The Whisper Song)
PARODY, laundered-double-entendre album (Vol 3, the finale). Write ORIGINAL wholesome lyrics that SOUND suggestive from the title but are LITERALLY and innocently about the library's 'please whisper' quiet reading room (comic). The dirty mind is the listener's — the song is clean, DistroKid/YouTube-safe, G-to-PG. Vintage register to era. ⛔ CRITICAL COPYRIGHT RULE: do NOT reproduce, quote, or lightly paraphrase the source song's CHORUS/HOOK or ANY distinctive lyric line (even the famous tag line). Suno's filter WILL reject it and it creates real copyright liability. Borrow ONLY the general TITLE idea. Invent a completely fresh hook about the library's 'please whisper' quiet reading room (comic). Source parodied (idea only, never its words): Wait (The Whisper Song) (2005).
Lyrics
[Intro] [Verse 1] Past the big oak doors, a Tuesday afternoon in 1927. The air smells like beeswax, old paper, a quiet sort of heaven. But there’s a sign in stark black letters, says 'QUIET PLEASE' upon the wall. And the head librarian, Miss Eleanor Vance, is watching us all. Each chair has felt pads on its feet, a very clever notion. 'Cause every little squeak in here is a symphony of commotion. You try to read, you try to think, you try to just sit still. But the pressure to be silent is a deeply bitter pill. [Chorus] Wait... till she looks away. Wait... for a better day. You wanna turn the page, you wanna clear your throat? Everybody's watching, so you better take a note. Just hold it in until the feeling passes. Yeah, hold it tight behind your reading glasses. Wait. Just whisper low. [Verse 2] There’s a gentleman beside me, Mister Bartholomew Finch. His page-turning is a thunderclap, he doesn’t move an inch. I’ve got a book with a crinkly cover, I can’t even begin. And now I feel a tickle, deep down, from somewhere deep within. It's coming up, I can't escape it, this terrible, awful need. A tiny, little, dreaded, most unwelcome little deed. I’m pinching my nose, I’m biting my lip, my eyes are starting to stream. This isn’t a library, it’s a silent, waking dream. [Chorus] Wait... till she looks away. Wait... for a better day. You wanna make a sound, you wanna let it go? Everybody's listening, it’s a terrifying show. Just hold it in until the feeling passes. Yeah, hold it tight behind your reading glasses. Wait. Just whisper low. [Bridge] A green-shaded lamp casts down its light. I’ve been holding this sneeze with all of my might. Then somebody’s chair lets out a scrape! A horrifying sound, there is no escape. Miss Vance's head snaps up, her eyes are on fire. The tension in this room is climbing higher and higher. [Outro] ...bless me.
