Mr. Spoiler-At-The-Watercooler
"Oh you haven't seen it yet? Wait till you see who dies." Maximum carnage in 11 words.
Lyrics
[Intro] [Verse 1] Tuesday morning. Ten-fifteen. Just needed to fill my mug. Sarah and I were talking about the finale. That moment on the cliffside. The two of them, finally. We were so excited for tonight. A small thing. A small, bright thing to look forward to. [Chorus] And then he leans against the cooler. A little smirk. "Oh, you haven't seen it yet?" A pause, just long enough for the dread to set in. "Wait till you see who dies." Eleven words. That's all it took. [Verse 2] My hand went slack. The white ceramic mug, the one with the blue company logo, it just… slipped. The clatter was a gunshot in the silence that followed. Shattered on the tile. Coffee spreading like a slow, dark thought. No one moved. No one said a thing. [Bridge] And I'm just standing there. Smelling the burnt, cheap coffee. Staring at the pieces. He ruined it. For what? For the feeling of knowing something we didn't? A tiny, little king of a Tuesday morning. The show is still there on my screen, but it's a ghost now. The surprise is dead. A little murder in the breakroom. [Chorus] He just leans against the cooler. His little smirk. "Oh, you haven't seen it yet?" That pause. He knew what he was doing. "Wait till you see who dies." Maximum carnage. Minimum effort. [Outro] I just walked away. Left the mess. Left the coffee. The episode will play tonight. But I'll just be waiting for the body. Thanks, Mr. Spoiler. Thanks a lot.
